rhapsody-in-bohemian asked: Hey!!! First of all, can I just say that I loved the blueREP production of "Little Shop of Horrors" that I now know you directed when I was re-reading my LSoH souvenir program this morning. Second, as an incoming ADMU freshie, I need to know: will new members also be part of Spring Awakening, or will the newbies have their own production (like Black Prom)? :D Thanks!

oh wow, thanks =) glad you liked the show! we had incredible fun mounting that at FA theater =) re: Spring Awakening, yes newbies (or even non-members) are eligible to audition for BlueRep’s season finale. It’s usually Open Auds. If you’re auditioning, break a leg! And I strongly suggest that you audition for the newbie prod which comes before that as well.

Coming soon… PETA Theater’s BONA, starring Ms. Eugene Domingo. *Drops Jaw.
Eugene reprises Nora Aunor’s role in PETA’s stage adaptation. Lino Brocka’s film classic will be reinvented by Philippine Education Theater Association (PETA) as it opens its 45th Theater Season with the first staged comedy-drama adaptation of “Bona”
Set in contemporary Manila, Bona now focuses on the life of a spinster call center agent, Bona (essayed by Eugene Domingo), who becomes a die-hard fan of the Star of Tomorrow wannabe, Gino Sanchez. In her desire to help him jumpstart his showbiz career, she gives him everything and turns her back to everything she values. Blinded by her belief in him, she allows all his faults to freely slide as she finds herself drowning in the surreal quicksand of worship and pity.
