Chasing Toff

I've always been a fan of theater growing up. But it wasn't 'til 2005, out of curiosity, that I decided to take an acting workshop w/ Repertory Philippines and that was what got me started with this rollercoaster love affair with theater. From being a stage actor once upon a time, to directing to production managing to currently writing an Arts and Culture Column for the Philippine Star to heading Marketing and PR and now being a Producer for 9 Works Theatrical, theater is truly my passion. In fact, Audie Gemora calls me a "citizen of theater." And now I am taking it a step further by writing this theater blog. This is Theaterati. There's one in everybody. Catch me if you can =)

We Have Lea, MiG & Jett in 2012 (article by Bobby Garcia, Philippine Star)

Things to look forward to based on Bobby’s article:

Lin Manuel Miranda is coming to Manila the opening night of In the Heights.
Mig Ayesa is playing Stacee Jaxx in Atlantis’ Rock of Ages.
Lea Salonga will be coming back to the Atlantis stage via God of Carnage. Her last appearance was in Baby back in 2004 - and that was before I got hooked on theater.
Nine will feature Jett Pangan as Guido Contini and the set design of Tony Award-winner David Gallo from The Drowsy Chaperone. Gallo is also the genius behind Memphis and The Mountaintop.
Designer Robin Tomas will be doing the costumes for Nine. Saw his show in Fashion Week. He is AMAZING.
